28' Lyman Refit

This 1966 Lyman Islander Fly Bridge has gone through such a transformation it's almost unrecognizable.  The first picture shows it as it was when it came to our shop.  We removed the top.  Then completely gutted the inside down to the ribs, repowered it with modern Crusader engines and built it back up to what you see now.  The style and design is much like a modern Hinckley, but made of wood instead of fiberglass.  We did extensive engineering on the transom and the electronic systems to be able to open the transom to walk out onto the swim platform.  The owner can operate this as well as the windows, sound system and lighting all with his iPhone.  This well appointed beauty took 'Best Lapstrake' and the Peoples' Choice Award at the 2014 ACBS Show.
