These boats were built in downtown Lake Geneva in the 1920's, 30's and 40's with fishing Geneva Lake in mind.  Beautifully hand-crafted out of cypress wood, they were said to have sold new (with a motor) for $400.  The boatyard was located in downtown Lake Geneva at the SW corner of Main St. and Center St.  There is little information on the Ghould Brothers, and today only 3 of their original boats are known to have survived.  This is the second Ghould Brothers boat to be restored, the other has been on display in the Lake Geneva museum.
