1977 16' Donzi Ski Sporter "Sweet 16"

This Donzi Ski Sporter 16, better known as a Sweet 16 was manufactured by
Donzi Marine in North Miami Beach, FL in 1977. She is powered by a 302 cubic
inch (5.0 liter) High Output (HO) Ford V-8 with a 4 barrel Holley carburetor. Exhaust is
straight through the transom. The outdrive is a Volvo 280 unit with electric tilt. Shift
and throttle is a single lever Morse unit.
The propeller is a LH rotation 14 1⁄2” x 21 Michigan SS 3 blade. This is a good all-around
prop. Also included are several other SS props which have different performance
characteristics. (Volvo Ultra 14”x 22; Ron Hill 14”x 20 4-blade; 14”x23 Cleaver)
Top speed by GPS was 54.3 mph @ 4500 rpm, using the cleaver prop.
The Michigan prop runs 52.1 mph @4700 rpm
The hull was repainted with red and white Imron enamel by the previous owner in 2004.
Seats are red tuck and roll vinyl with stainless snaps.
This boat has been lovingly maintained.  It's only been used in freshwater lakes & was stored indoors when not in use.
Includes a is a single axle bunk style trailer manufactured by Rocket in 1984. It has bearing buddy hub protection, guide-on rollers, and a 2” ball coupler.
Also includes a black Sunbrella cover!
